Exercise Your Right to Vote During Early Voting

Early voting marks a crucial moment for retirees across the state. In the face of challenges at the Texas Capitol and beyond, we must recognize the power we hold in our hands — the power to vote.

Why is your participation in this election so vital? It's simple. By casting your ballot, you can shape the future for retirees in Texas. Issues like securing Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLA) and advocating for a 13th check are on the line, and your vote can make all the difference.

We surveyed candidates from both parties running for the Texas Legislature. We asked them where they stand on issues critical to State of Texas retirees. Shockingly, some candidates opposed COLA, with one even refusing to support any funding for the Employees Retirement System (ERS). Supporting such candidates would be detrimental to our interests.

Given these responses, we've endorsed candidates who are committed to championing retirees' interests and supporting current public employees. These individuals will stand by us as we fight for a better future.
